Kostantinos Sierros, Ph.D.
Currently I am an Assistant Professor with the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at WVU. My research is focused on the development of flexible devices for energy harvesting and on the tribology of functional coatings.
I received a B.S. (2001) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle (UK) and an M.S. (2002) in Polymer Engineering and Science from the University of Birmingham (UK). I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham (UK) in Materials Science and Engineering (2006). I am the advisor of WVU’s Human Powered Vehicle Design Team and I am interested in design-based engineering education projects.
